How to mail and send your Christmas Cards correctly to ensure prompt delivery
Take
the following steps to have your Wirral Cards delivered and help Wirral
Charities in the process:-
Step 2:
Write
your Cards (we are only permitted to deliver Christmas
Cards – no other enclosures or mail) and clearly
address the envelopes with the full
address (the postcode would also be helpful).
Please do not use gold ink on gold envelopes, silver ink on silver
envelopes etc.!!! Step 3:
Purchase
the requisite number of stamps from one of the participating outlets (see list
for details) and fix one of the special 18p stamps to each envelope (note that
these stamps are not valid for use in
the Royal Mail; likewise, Royal Mail
stamps are not valid for use in the Charity Post).
Step 4:
Post your Charity Post in one of the special Post Boxes located at most
of the outlets which sell stamps (see List for details) - do
not post your Charity Post in Royal Mail Boxes. Most
addresses should receive two deliveries which are normally made during daylight
hours over the weekends of 13th/14th and 20th/21st December 2008.
(Note: in a small number of
cases, particularly outlying rural areas, there may be only one delivery on the
2nd weekend.)
